North Georgia treks

I’m an avid hiker with a passion for landscape and nature photography. Although most of my hiking adventures are in the beautiful North Georgia mountains where I have lived my entire life, I do like to venture out and explore new trails all around the southeast. My mission as North Georgia treks is to share my adventures with each of you in hopes of giving you a new destination to explore and encourage each of you to get outside and enjoy the great outdoors. Always #OptOutside

Dave is a native Texan but has lived with his family in South Carolina since 1998, both in the Low Country and now the Upstate. He grew up receiving photo compliments like “that must be a good camera you have” but has become more convinced lately that it’s as much what you see and feel as it is what you capture. He caught the Instagram bug a couple years ago and loves to shoot images mostly using his iPhone. He recently founded @Discover_Carolinas on Instagram to highlight the beauty found across NC and SC using the work of amateur and professional photographers.

Clayton Hensley

My name is Clayton Hensley (a.k.a. the knoxdaytripper).   Born and raised in East Tennessee (with a few years in SW Virginia), I have been traveling the backroads and hiking in the mountains for as long as I can remember.  Through my writing and photography, I hope to inspire people to experience places they might not have heard about before or look at familiar places in a new light.

For more than 20-years now, my wife and I have called Clinton, TN home.  We have two children who (for the most part) love to travel with us.  My "real" job is working as a communications director for a large church and in what little spare time I have, I like to garden, take lots of pictures, collect Coca-Cola stuff and catch up on all those shows I miss because I'm always doing something else.

“Hey y’all!

My name is Eddie Romero and I am a photographer based out of Greensboro, NC. I am an outdoor and adventure enthusiast and enjoy spending every chance I get outdoors capturing the natural beauty around us. Along with hiking, I enjoy traveling, so you’ll see a combination of city shots and nature shots. Look forward to hearing from y’all!”
