Greensboro, North Carolina also know as the Gate City, is the third most populated city in North Carolina. Founded in 1808, Greensboro has seen its fair share of history. In stead of going through the history of Greensboro, here are some quick facts:

 
  • Greensboro is named after General Nathanael Greene, who led American forces during the Revolutionary War’s Battle of Guilford Courthouse.
